There were 107 entries in the contest. Entries were judged on innovation, accomplishment of purpose, production quality and measurable success.
United Way of Scott County won first place in its division for the miscellaneous category for its Leadership Givers Brochure submission which honors all donors giving more than $500 during the campaign. United Way of Scott County won second place in its division for the annual reports and newsletters category for the organization's quarterly newsletter. Third place honors were awarded for the 2008 campaign video shown at company meetings and special events category for a golf scramble brochure. United Way received an honorable mention in the campaign communications in print category for the campaign posters featuring donors and agencies in Scott County.
